Click here to visit the new Garden Furniture Centre websiteAfter months of behind-the-scenes development, AlphaQuad this week launched a brand new e-commerce website for Garden Furniture Centre Ltd. Our largest e-commerce undertaking to date, the site features over 1,000 garden furniture products from gazebos to picnic tables.

Optimised for search engines, the site hasn't sacrificed any usability - with sections simply navigated and products easily purchased.

Needless to say, the client is delighted with the site, and we are already mapping out phase two of the site development.

The Birmingham-based company recently commemorated 100 years of service to the community, and the celebrations continued with the launch of www.williamhpainter.co.uk.

The new site features a soft, compassionate design, essential due to the sensitive nature of the business, while content has been optimised to increase visitors from search engines.

It is the first of 16 sites we'll be creating for parent-company LM Funerals.

Web site shortlisted for award

One of our most recent web site projects has been shortlisted in the Best Web Site/Midlands category in this year's CIPR PRide Awards.

The site, www.connect-pr.co.uk, was designed and developed by AlphaQuad for leading West Midlands Public Relations agency, Connect PR.

Managing Director, Hazel Crawford-Upton, said "It's fantastic news that our website has been nominated in the CIPR Pride Awards. The site is a great new business tool for Connect PR and also showcases our work. We've got everything crossed that we win, but even if we don't, we have still got a site that's helping our business to expand."

AlphaQuad will continue to work alongside Hazel and her team to further develop the web site and help maintain a robust and effective online marketing strategy.

We're back

Having been told by BT that there would be no phones or Internet for 6 more days the engineers managed to get us back up less than 6hrs. BT engineers are great!

BT and a JCB

Sometime on Sunday night the main BT lines in the area were 'adjusted' with the business end of a JCB. The result was no phones or Internet access today for everyone on our business park and all in the surrounding area. We are assured by BT the normal service will be restored tomorrow (14th of August) sometime in the afternoon.

Apologies to all who are trying to e-mail us and anyone who is having trouble getting through to our one mobile, to which all calls are diverted.

Naturally no web site is affected and all e-mails to us will come through when the lines return.
