With its core being an e-commerce site, BBQ Talk has been developed from off-the-shelf e-commerce software, Magento.

AlphaQuad’s development team has made innovative and significant changes, building a full CMS platform from the Magento foundation, meaning that the site can now support not only e-commerce, but a searchable recipe database and lifestyle articles.

Future ideas for BBQ Talk include a guest article facility enabling visitors to submit articles of their own, a ‘build your own recipe cookbook’, plus the opportunity for guests to rate and review BBQ products, recipes and articles. In addition, there are opportunities for fully integrated CRM and telesales.
