Club Care Insurance, affiliated to the Camping and Caravanning Club, are a long-established provider of insurance for those who enjoy the outdoor lifestyle. They specialise in touring caravan insurance, static caravan insurance, motorhome insurance, trailer tent insurance and camping insurance, but offer a host of other products too.

Club Care came to AlphaQuad needing a re-brand that would bring them in line with The Camping and Caravanning Club, while also improving user experience to increase the number of quotation conversions from the website.

AlphaQuad provided Club Care with a new website that fitted this design brief and improved the customer experience by making it easier to get a quote. These changes have seen the number of people getting a quote online increasing significantly month-on-month since the site was launched in January 2012.

In August 2012 we redesigned the Club Care site to make it responsive, and therefore mobile-friendly. With more and more people using tablets and mobile phones to access the internet, it is important that websites accommodate this. When we reported to Club Care that an increasing number of visitors were coming from mobile devices and that the website should be redesigned to support this, they were happy to invest in making the website respond to their customers needs.

The responsive design has improved visitor interaction considerably, with an increase in visitors from mobile devices of almost 250% from August 2011 to August 2012. In addition site usage has also increased over the same time period as visitors now find the site much easier to navigate, with pageviews increasing by 19% and visit duration by 14%.
