Engaging content to reach new and existing customers

The Camping and Caravanning Club is the world’s oldest and largest club within the camping and caravanning industry. Having worked with us regularly in the past, they asked us to create an interactive infographic encouraging people to buy an annual membership to the Club. The infographic would portray the benefits of becoming a member and outline the savings on offer by tailoring it to individual customers, showing them how much they are likely to save at each stage of the process.


We began by storyboarding each screen of the infographic to determine the functionality, interactivity, and benefits to the member - planning how best to display the information to the user. 

Once the storyboard was finalised we began designing each slide to deliver a clear message to the reader, whilst retaining brand consistency. It was key to work closely with the design and development teams at this stage to make sure the infographic would work responsively and meet the needs of the client and the end user.

Multi audience approach

We created different versions of the infographic to cater to three separate audiences; new members, existing members and trade show audiences. Each design was thoroughly tested to guarantee its quality before launching. The testing process was particularly important for this project due to the responsive nature of the infographic and the calculations required to determine the expected savings for each audience. 

The result

The trade show version of the infographic was launched successfully on the Camping and Caravanning Club stand at the Motorhome and Caravan Show in October 2013. The Camping and Caravanning Club took a central exhibition space in the NEC between the dates of 15th and 20th October and displayed the infographic on their screens. The show welcomed 100,179 visitors giving the infographic a fantastic audience.
