With under insurance a major problem our brief was to help homeowners easily find the right level of contents insurance cover, whilst promoting the benefits of NFU Mutual's standard and high value home insurance products.

The result is a great looking and highly engaging Flex-based web application that has already seen a 300% increase in visitors who went on to complete a quote request. Several new features have enabled this, including the improved interactivity of the application, the clear calls to action, promotional cross and up sells, and email/save/print facilities.

Another key factor behind the tool’s success is the application’s complete integration with Google Analytics; we can measure how visitors use the application: which rooms they used, how many emails were sent, how many times it was saved and printed, and which calls to action were clicked on – all of which gives us great insight into what works well and what could be improved in the future.
