Sutcliffe & Co is a fully independent insurance brokers based in Worcester. A family-run company that has been trusted with arranging business and personal insurance for four generations. We have been working with Sutcliffe & Co on a Local SEO campaign, resulting in first page placements for a large number of data and cyber, liability, non-negligence and bonds insurance terms on Google.
The project
Sutcliffe & Co was looking for ways to improve search engine rankings and generate enquiries in the heavily saturated insurance industry, particularly in the Worcestershire area.
AlphaQuad tailored a bespoke digital marketing consultancy package which focussed on both Local SEO and optimising conversions. The package also included detailed monthly performance reports.
SEO advice included content marketing, link building, search accessibility, and any other activities required to support website search rankings.
The results
Sutcliffe & Co has seen a significant increase in overall traffic to the site as well as numerous first-place national Google rankings. For example, there has been:
- 72% increase in search visibility
- 20% of target keywords in position 1-3 on Google after 9 months in Worcestershire
- 35% of target keywords in position 1-3 on Google after 9 months nationwide
- 55% increase in quote requests
- 464% increase in organic traffic
- 522% increase in direct traffic (indicating a large improvement in brand awareness)
