A look at AlphaQuad’s 2026 so far. Workshops, exhibitions, and more.
As we reach the halfway point of the year, it is a good time to reflect on how quickly the months have passed and the progress that has been made along the way. It has been a busy few months for AlphaQuad, with a mix of hands-on digital marketing training, industry events and plenty of conversations with businesses looking to improve their online visibility.
From running practical workshops on SEO, PPC, social media and Google Analytics, to exhibiting at MACH in April and Subcon in June, we have had the opportunity to speak with business owners, marketing teams, manufacturers and suppliers about the digital challenges they are facing right now.
Although each conversation was different, one theme came through clearly: businesses do not just want more marketing activity. They want clearer direction, better visibility and more confidence that their marketing is supporting real growth.
Expanding our workshops
We introduced our SEO workshops in 2025, and we have been delighted by the level of interest they’ve received. For 2026, we decided to introduce a series of new digital marketing workshops, with each focusing on a different area of AlphaQuad’s expertise.
Alongside our SEO workshops, we have expanded the programme to include PPC training, social media training, and Google Analytics 4 training. Each session is designed to give businesses practical, hands-on advice they can take away and apply to their own marketing activity. We’re also proud to share that all of our workshops are now CPD-accredited, giving attendees the opportunity to gain recognised continuing professional development while building their digital marketing knowledge.
All of the workshops have been a great opportunity to meet business owners, provide useful training, enjoy some lunch…and network without having to leave the office!
If you’re looking at taking on some digital marketing training, we would love to have you.
Meeting manufacturers at MACH
As if hosting workshops weren’t enough, we decided, alongside our friends at Definition Media, to exhibit at the MACH Exhibition 2026.
This was AlphaQuad’s first time exhibiting at an event of this scale, and it was a wonderful opportunity to meet business owners and marketing teams, catch up with clients who were also exhibiting, and get our 10,000 steps in.
One of the most interesting parts of exhibiting at MACH was the conversations we were able to have with manufacturing businesses about their digital marketing. It is an area that moves incredibly quickly, and what once felt like an impressive website update or digital campaign can, after a few years, start to feel rather antiquated.
Many of the businesses we spoke to were thinking carefully about how they present themselves online, how their website supports enquiries, and how digital marketing can work alongside the relationships they build at events like MACH. It was a great reminder that even in industries built on technical expertise and long-standing relationships, a strong digital presence still has an important role to play.
Continuing the conversation at Subcon
And then, because one exhibition just wasn’t enough, we decided to exhibit at Subcon.
Unlike MACH, Subcon is a more specialist manufacturing show, built around helping buyers source the supplier capability behind their final products. This gave the event a slightly different feel, with many conversations focused on supplier visibility, lead generation and how businesses can stand out in a competitive marketplace.
We also had the opportunity to speak at Subcon, which allowed us to share some of our own insight into the role digital marketing plays in supporting manufacturing businesses. In particular, we spoke about the importance of being visible before, during and after an exhibition, as potential customers will often research a business online before making contact or continuing a conversation.
Subcon was another valuable opportunity to meet business owners, manufacturers and suppliers, and to continue many of the conversations we had started at MACH. It reinforced just how important a clear, credible online presence is for businesses that want to be found, trusted and remembered.
Looking ahead
As we move into the second half of the year, we will continue to run our digital marketing workshops and share useful insights from the conversations we are having with businesses across different sectors.
If we met you at MACH or Subcon, or if you have joined one of our recent workshops, thank you for being part of the conversation. And if your business is looking for clearer direction on SEO, PPC, social media, analytics or wider digital strategy, we would be happy to help.
